Submission Guidelines

Submit your paper(s) in PDF file at the ICESS2013 submission site: http://cse.stfx.ca/~icess2013/sub/. Papers should be limited up to 8 pages in IEEE CS format. The template files for LATEX or WORD can be downloaded here. All papers will be peer reviewed by two or three pc members. Submitting a paper to the symposium means that if the paper is accepted, at least one author should register to ICESS2013 and attend the conference to present the paper.

Publications

Accepted and presented papers will be included into the IEEE Conference Proceedings published by IEEE CS Press (indexed by EI). Authors of accepted papers, or at least one of them, are requested to register and present their work at the conference, otherwise their papers will be removed from the digital libraries of IEEE CS and EI after the conference.

Distinguished papers presented at the conference, after further revision, will be recommended for special issues in Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience; Journal of Network and Computer Applications, Personal and Ubiquitous Computing, Journal of Systems and Software, Journal of Computer and System Sciences, and IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing.
