Call for Papers - STE 2027
February 24 - 26, 2027, The Sukosol Hotel Bangkok, Thailand International Conference on Smart Technologies & Education (STE 2027) Co-Creating the Smart Industrial Future Through Education The International Conference on Smart Technologies & Education (STE) is the successor of the REV Conferences and the annual conference of the International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE) and the EduNet World Association (EWA). STE is dedicated to the fundamentals, applications, and experiences in the field of Smart Technologies, Online, Remote, and Virtual Engineering, Virtual Instrumentation and other related new technologies, including - Workforce Development & Skills Training - Cybersecurity & Data Science - Vocational Training & Advanced Technologies - Education Technology - Industrial Engineering & Automation - Entrepreneurship & Innovation - Policy & Ethics in Technology - Biomedical Engineering - Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning - Sustainable & Green Technologies A further objective of the conference is to discuss guidelines and new concepts for engineering education in higher and vocational education institutions including emerging technologies in learning, such as: Online and Virtual Labs, MOOCs and Open Learning Resources. STE2027 will offer an exciting technical programme as well as networking opportunities. The EWA Forum will take place during the conference. It will feature presentations and industry workshops. Submissions to STE2027 can be submitted via the STE2027 ConfTool submission server, available on the conference homepage. Other ways to participate Posters/workshops/tutorials, interactive demonstrations and exhibitions can also be proposed. Prospective organizers of other STE2027 events are encouraged to contact the conference chair. Important Deadlines & Presentation Formats Proposals for the STE2027 conference may be submitted in the following formats (online presentations will be possible in separate conference track): 28 Sep 2026 Submission of: (i) Structured Abstracts (for full and short papers) for the conference (ii) Special Session proposals 05 Oct 2026 Notification of acceptance for abstracts for the conference. Special Sessions notification and announcement 09 Nov 2026 Submission of: (i) Complete Papers for all submission types (ii) proposals for Round Tables, Workshops, Tutorials 23 Nov 2026 Notification of acceptance 21 Dec 2026 Camera-ready due & Author registration deadline 24 Feb 2027 STE 2027 opening Review/Proceedings All submissions will undergo a double-blind review process. All accepted and presented papers will be published as STE2027 Proceedings in Springer's Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems. The books of these series are submitted to ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, DBLP, SCOPUS, Google Scholar and Springerlink. Selected award-winning papers will be recommended for publication in international journals.
