TAIMMA 2027 invites original, unpublished papers presenting high-quality theoretical, methodological, empirical, computational, and applied research. The conference provides an international forum for work that connects advances in informatics with rigorous analytical methods and meaningful applications in society, education, industry, and public services.
TOPICS OF INTEREST Applied Informatics - Artificial intelligence and machine learning - Data science, big data analytics, and data mining - Natural language processing - Information systems and digital transformation - Human-centered and explainable artificial intelligence - Information retrieval and recommender systems Mixed-Methods Analytics - Mixed-methods research designs - Qualitative research and thematic analysis - Surveys, interviews, and focus-group research - Case studies, evaluation, and validation - MAXQDA-based analysis - Grounded theory, ethnography, and narrative inquiry Application Domains - Education and learning technologies - Healthcare and well-being - Business and organizational innovation - Tourism and cultural informatics - Public services and digital government - Social science and interdisciplinary applications The list is indicative rather than exhaustive. Interdisciplinary submissions that clearly connect applied informatics, analytical methodology, and real-world impact are especially welcome. SUBMISSION GUIDANCE - Papers must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. - Papers must be prepared using the Springer LNCS format. - Full papers: 12-15 pages. - Short papers: minimum 6 pages. - Poster papers: minimum 4 pages; a limited number will be considered, subject to prior approval. - AI-generated images and diagrams should be avoided. - All figures, tables, and text must remain within the page text area. - Every figure and table must be referred to in the paper text. - Papers must be submitted electronically through the Microsoft CMT platform. - Each paper will be assigned to at least three reviewers and evaluated for originality, relevance, methodological or technical quality, clarity, and contribution. - Plagiarism and textual-overlap checking will be conducted. PUBLICATION Accepted papers will be published in Springer Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS). Selected high-quality papers will also be invited to submit an extended version to a Topical Collection of Discover Informatics (Springer Open Access). The APC is waived until 31 December 2027.
