13th SWS Vienna ART 2026 — When Science meets Art
2–5 December 2026, Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna, Austria.

SWS Scholarly Society invites research contributions in Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, including History of Art, Visual Arts, Architecture and Design, Digital Humanities, Museology and Heritage Studies, History, Philosophy, Literature, Linguistics, Performing Arts and Musicology. Oral, poster and virtual participation options are available.

Abstracts: English, maximum 3,000 characters including title, author names and keywords (maximum 50 lines). Submit through My Article in the official system: https://www.sgemvienna.org/ems/menu.php

Abstracts undergo double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers. Following abstract approval, a full English-language paper is compulsory; regular papers are 6–8 pages and undergo a further review stage. See the official guidelines for formatting and extended-paper charges.

Abstracts and early-bird registration: 26 October 2026.
Workshop and panel proposals: 9 November 2026.
Full papers and registration/payment: 16 November 2026.
Poster PDFs and prerecorded virtual presentations: 23 November 2026.

Published fees, excluding VAT: in-person lecturer EUR 349 early bird / EUR 401 after 26 October; virtual EUR 249 early bird / EUR 287 afterwards. Optional extras are additional.
