Call For Abstracts
Abstracts for presentations or software/hardware demonstrations, related to all aspects of bioimage data mining and informatics, are welcome. Appropriate topics include, but not limited to: * Bioimage infrastructure: data storage, organization, ontologies, pipelining and retrieval * Bioimage analysis: image analysis issues including feature extraction, segmentation, tracking, and pattern recognition * Modeling, visualization, exploration and data mining * Bioimage atlases: cataloguing and localization of components within cells and tissues * Bioimage based systems biology: quantitative analysis of large scale image datasets and integration within other systematic data sets (e.g., sequences, microarrays, protein interaction, etc.) Interested participants are invited to submit an abstract no later than October 15, 2007. The abstracts will be reviewed by the program committee and the authors will be notified of the results by November 15. A limited number of travel fellowships will be provided for students and junior faculty to attend the workshop for presenting their work. If you are a student or a junior faculty on a submitted abstract, please make the request in your abstract submission. Abstract Submission Potential authors are invited to submit an abstract, not to exceed 400 words of text, in PDF format, by October 15, 2007, 11:59pm (PDT).
