Recently, most of real world physical entities are connected
together with the digital world through wired and wireless networks through the Internet. This connection is facilitated by diverse technologies provided by many researchers from different disciplines. To name few of these technologies that became common are sensors, RFIDs, short- and long-range communications, intelligent objects, and mobile devices. This workshop aims to bring together researchers in an effort to highlight the state-of-the-art and discuss the issues and opportunities to explore new research directions and develop new ideas for the Internet of Ubiquitous and Pervasive Things. The International Workshop on Internet of Ubiquitous and Pervasive Things will take place in conjunction with the 2nd International Conference on Ambient Systems, Networks and Technologies (ANT-2011), Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada in September 19-21, 2011. The submitted paper must be formatted according to the guidelines of guidelines of Procedia Computer Science, MS Word Template, Latex, Elsevier. Authors should submit paper with no more than 6 pages length using the Easychair submission system, http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iupt11 Every submitted paper will be carefully reviewed by at least two members of the International Program Committee. The selective outstanding papers presented at the workshop, after further revision, will be considered for publication in journals special issues.
