Entertainment Technology Summit and Exhibition (ET Summit)

Dates: September 25 – September 26, 2017
Location: Concordia University, Montreal

The Entertainment Technology Summit is a crucial media for constructing a platform of mutual academic learning and communication about entertainment technology and everything that surrounds it. ET specialists and peers will discuss multimedia technology, HCI, AR/VR, post-production tools and techniques, and speculate on the future cinema and its convergence with CG, AI, serious games, and other domains. At the same time, we present both historical accounts of ET as well a state of the art.

In 2017 we introduce formal proceedings to be published for both industrial and academic works in the form of full articles, demos, exhibition items, installations, VR/AR screenings, storage, API, graphics technology and related. See the detailed CFP below.

ET Summit and Exhibition 2017 + Women’s Voice in Film, TV, and Technology

Following the success of talks of the fist ET Summit and Exhibition in 2016, we are organizing the 2nd edition of 2017, also affiliated with the Canada China International Film Festival (CCIFF) — a cinematographic art- and technology-driven international festival. To see the previous speakers and exhibitors:

This year we adjust the format to include formal proceedings, pending approval, to publish with the ACM.

We call for the following contribution types from Academia and Industry:

- full papers (minimum 5 to maximum 10 pages in the ACM format) from both, industry and academia
- talks, posters, demos, exhibitions, installation, VR/AR screenings (2 pages in the ACM format)

Full papers, talks, and posters are encouraged to submit a corresponding demo/exhibition item(s).

Full papers should not have been published before or being concurrently under review at another peer-reviewed conference or journal. There will be a peer review for full papers by the technical program committee. Talks, posters, demos and exhibition items will be juried.
