===== CALL FOR PAPERS ===== The 6th Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems (MCIS 2011) Mobile, Pervasive, Ubiquitous IS Track http://www.mcis2011.org/ 3-5 September 2011, Cyprus Track Chairs: - Ioannis Krontiris, Goethe University Frankfurt (Ioannis.Krontiris@m-chair.net) - George M Giaglis, Athens University of Economics and Business (Giaglis@aueb.gr) Pervasive and ubiquitous information systems have evolved into an active area of research and development, due to their tremendous potential impact on the social, economic and cultural aspects of our lives. MCIS 2011 will provide a leading edge, scholarly forum for researchers, engineers, and students alike to share their state-of-the art research and developmental work in the broad area of Information Systems. The aim of the Mobile, Pervasive and Ubiquitous IS Track is to bring together researchers to address cutting edge research on the architecture, design, implementation, application and evaluation of mobile and pervasive computing technologies. The track places strong emphasis on both the technological innovation aspects of the field of pervasive computing as well as the ways in which these emerging technologies affect and influence everyday life. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: * Internet of Things * Wireless Sensor Networks and RFIDs * Mobile Phone Sensing * Mobile Social Networks and Communities * Mobile Virtual and Augmented Reality * Activity Recognition using Pervasive Sensing * Context-Aware Ubiquitous Computing * Privacy and Security Issues * Pervasive and Mobile Advertising * Mobile Payment * Business Models * User Interfaces and Usability Issues * Practical Experiences and Prototypes * Adoption, Diffusion and Impact SUBMISSIONS Articles should be submitted electronically as PDF files via EasyChair: https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=mcis2011 When submitting, authors should indicate the track for which they wish their paper to be considered. Submissions will be subjected to peer-review.
