CALL FOR PAPERS ******************************************* The 1st International Conference on Sustainable Information Engineering and Technology (SIET 2016) October 17 - 18, 2016 Brawijaya University, Malang - INDONESIA website: http://siet.ub.ac.id/ ------------------------------------------------------- The 1st International Conference on Sustainble Information Engineering and Technology (SIET 2016) aims to bring together academia, researchers, business entrepreneurs, practitioners, and policy makers who are responsible for delivering sustainable and/or eco-friendly solutions through leveraging advanced information engineering and technology for competitive advantage and cost savings in modern industrial sector as well as public and business sectors. SIET 2016 provides a great opportunity for prospective participants to share their recent theoretical knowledge, research findings and experiences in dealing with sustainable information engineering and technology. As such, SIET 2016 will feature presentations by internationally speakers which are cutting-edge session topics. The theme of SIET 2016 is “Sustainable information engineering and technology for sustainable society development”. This conference will be held at Widyaloka Building, Brawijaya University, Malang, Indonesia, on October 17 – 18, 2016. ***** IMPORTANT DATES ***** Full paper submission deadline : August 28, 2016 Notification of acceptance : September 25, 2016 Camera ready paper submission deadline : October 5, 2016 Author registration deadline : September 30, 2016 ***** TOPICS OF INTEREST ***** SIET 2016 invites all prospective authors to submit their high quality articles, which are original and unpublished, constructed from their recent theoretical knowledge, research findings and experiences in dealing with sustainable information engineering and technology. Environmental systems: * Carbon footprints * Climate and ecosystem monitoring * Environmental management systems * Environmental pollution and work hazards * Disaster management ***** PAPER SUBMISSION ***** All prospective authors are welcome to submit their high quality articles which are original and unpublished. Papers should follow Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) format with 8 maximum pages including references. Extra pages are subject to additional cost (maximum 2 extra pages). Manuscripts should be prepared according to the Springer guidelines (https://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0). All prospective papers must be submitted in PDF file through the SIET 2016 submission system using EasyChair (http://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=siet2016). ***** REVIEW POLICY ***** All submitted papers will be blind peer reviewed based on relevance, originality, significance, quality and clarity by at least three relevant Program Committee (PC) members. Each PC member will be encouraged to provide useful feedback to the authors prior to notification of acceptance released.
