CALL FOR PAPERS

We are welcoming abstracts and papers on sustainable growth and inclusive economic development with a geographical focus on the 57 OIC countries and observing nations. For a detailed Call for Papers, visit: www.bit.ly/QatarConference. The conference website will be hosted on www.qfis.edu.qa

One author of each accepted paper will have their airline tickets and hotel costs fully covered (subject to conditions cited in the Call for Papers document). Abstracts for papers are due on the 15th of April, 2011. The first drafts of the papers are due on the 15th of July, 2011.

Background of conference: This year's conference is the 8th in a series of prestigious conferences that led to the development of the field of Islamic banking and finance. Standard & Poor's currently estimates the size of the Islamic finance industry at about $1 trillion.
