The Conference Organizing Committee cordially invites you to attend the 14th International Society of Scientometrics and Informetrics Conference 2013 in Vienna, Austria, hosted by the University of Vienna and the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology.

Scope
=====

The ISSI 2013 Conference will provide an international open forum for scientists, research managers, authorities and information professionals to debate the current status and advancements of informetric and scientometric theories and their deployment. In addition to the traditional evaluative focus, this conference will also discuss practical applications in related fields such as library and information science, history of science, philosophy of science, etc.
The conference is organized under the auspices of ISSI – the International Society for Informetrics and Scientometrics (www.issi-society.info/). The conference language is English.

Submissions require registration as a user in the EasyChair system. Please go to http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=issi2013 to register. If you have an account, you can login and submit your paper, poster, tutorial etc.

Full Papers and Research in Progress Papers (deadline 21 January)
Full papers or research in progress papers must be submitted in MS-Word, formatted as outlined in this template. Full papers should not exceed 12 pages (including figures, tables and references), research in progress papers should not exceed 6 pages. Tutorial proposals: around 1 page in MS-Word format.

The deadline is a strict one due to the tight schedule for reviewing and preparing the proceedings.

At least one author must register.

Final version of full paper (deadline 30 April 2013 )

Posters (deadline 18 March 2013)
Poster papers must be submitted in MS-Word (.doc or .docx), formatted as outlined in this template )). Poster papers should not exceed 2 pages (including figures, tables and references).

Workshops/Tutorials (deadline 14 January 2013)
Workshops and tutorials are part of the preconference activities. Proposals should not exceed 1 page in MS-Word, taking the guidelines on this web page into account.

Use Easychair to submit. At least one author must register.
