CALL FOR PAPERS

Attention: All accepted and presented (oral session in CONATEL) papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings, published with ISBN, and will also be uploaded onto IEEE Xplore®.

San Pablo Catholic University, with the direct collaboration of all members
of the Technical Program Committee, IEEE Peru Section, and all its partners,
is organizing the II National Conference on Telecommunications CONATEL 2011,
with the aim of creating a common space to bring together researchers,
professionals, students and entrepreneurs, with the purpose of promoting
exchange of ideas and production of research in the area.

This conference intends to become an international forum, with emphasis on
regional interaction.

Authors are invited to contribute to this conference by submitting papers
that illustrate research results, projects, surveys and industrial
experiences describing significant advances in the following areas, but not
limited to (visit CONATEL 2011 website for more details):

1. Communications (Theory and Elements)
2. Telecommunications Systems
3. Communications Electronics
4. Radio/high Frequency Technologies
5. Digital Signal Processing (DSP) for Communications

* Papers belonging or related to any of the topics mentioned must be
submitted in ENGLISH in .pdf format through the JEMS platform (

ABOUT AREQUIPA:

CONATEL 2011 will take place in the picturesque city of Arequipa, located in
southern Peru, and known as the "White City" for its colonial buildings made
of ashlar, and famous for its exquisite cuisine. The colonial center of this
city was declared in the year 2000 as a Historical Heritage of Humanity, and
houses the convent of Santa Catalina (the only one in the world made as a
"citadel"). In Arequipa is located the Colca Canyon, the third deepest one
in the world, which is only 165 km away from the city. Guarded by three
beautiful mountains, this city is adjacent to Cusco, ancient capital of the
Inca Empire, home of the famous citadel of Machu Picchu (one of the seven
new wonders of the world).

LLAMADO A ARTÍCULOS (CALL FOR PAPERS):

La Universidad Católica San Pablo, con la colaboración directa de todos los
miembros del Comité Técnico de Programa, de IEEE Sección Perú, y de todos
sus colaboradores, organiza este II Congreso Nacional de Telecomunicaciones
CONATEL 2011, con la finalidad de crear un espacio común para reunir a
investigadores, profesionales, estudiantes y empresarios, con el objetivo de
promover el intercambio de ideas y la producción de investigación en el
área.

Esta Conferencia tiene el propósito de convertirse en un foro de carácter
internacional, con énfasis en la interacción regional.

Se invita a los autores a contribuir en este congreso mediante la
presentación de artículos que ilustren sus resultados de investigación,
proyectos, estudios (surveys) y experiencias industriales que describan
avances significativos en las siguientes áreas (visitar el website para
revisar en detalle cada área), pero que no se limiten a:

SOBRE AREQUIPA:

El CONATEL 2011 se llevará a cabo en la pintoresca ciudad de Arequipa,
ubicada al sur del Perú, y conocida como la "Ciudad Blanca" por sus
construcciones coloniales hechas de sillar, y famosa por su exquisita
gastronomía. El centro colonial de esta ciudad fue declarado el año 2000
como Patrimonio Histórico de la Humanidad y alberga el Convento de Santa
Catalina (el único en el mundo hecho como una "ciudadela"). En Arequipa se
encuentra el Cañón del Colca, el tercero más profundo del mundo, el cual se
encuentra a sólo 165 km de la ciudad. Custodiada por tres hermosas montañas,
esta ciudad colinda con Cusco, antigua capital del Imperio Incaico, que
alberga la célebre ciudadela de Machu Picchu (una de las 7 nuevas maravillas
del mundo).
