Call For Papers

Attracting attendees from all aspects of the reconfigurable radio value chain, SDR-WInnComm is the ideal place to network and make an impact on the reconfigurable radio community. Submit your abstract now and be a part of the only event devoted to the advancement of reconfigurable radio technologies from research through deployment.

In 2011 there were more than 81,000 downloads from previous proceedings.

The premier track for academic disclosure of novel SDR and CR techniques, the R&D track will focus on advanced research and development in software defined radio (SDR), cognitive radio (CR) and dynamic spectrum access (DSA) technologies. Papers are required in this track and selection will be competitive, based on intensive peer review.

*Top papers in this track will be eligible for placement in the Springer Journal of Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing (AISCP).

Design, Manufacture and Deployment (DMD) Track Submisisons
This track provides a perspective on the current “state of the art” in SDR, CR and DSA and the development and deployment of these technologies, including commercialization trends and near term technology innovations. Papers in this track are optional, but highly encouraged. Selection will be competitive based on review of presentation outline and the available number of speaking slots.

Tutorial Submissions
This track provides training in specific topic area relevant to the design, manufacture or deployment of SDR, CR or DSA technologies. Tutorials are provided in a two hour session, but may be extended upon request. Selection will be competitive based on the available number of speaking slots, with preference given to “hands-on” tutorials where provided.

Workshop Submissions
Workshops strive to achieve a predefined objective through multiple interactive sessions exploring a specific topic area relevant to research, design, manufacture or deployment of SDR, CR or DSA technologies. Workshops are provided in two, two hour sessions which may be extended through a conference keynote or plenary panel session. Selection will be competitive based on the topic relevance and the maturity of the proposal.

About the Conference:
In its 11th year, the Wireless Innovation Forum Conference on Communications Technologies and Software Defined Radio (SDR-WInnComm) attracts attendees that include investors, commercial network operators, radio manufacturers, system integrators, government procurement officials, regulators, engineering service providers and consultants from over 22 different countries.

SDR-WinnComm also features the following tracks: 1) Design, Manufacture, and Deploy (DMD) Track highlighting working SDR systems from industry, 2) User Requirements Track with contributions on business, markets, and networking, 3) Regulatory Track with insights on international government policy and laws. In addition to the major tracks, Workshops on specific topics are provided along with expert Tutorials. More information is available at the conference website.

Abstract Submission:
Abstracts and extended Abstracts for the R&D Track of SDR-WinnComm are being accepted through April 30, 2012. Based on Abstract acceptance, authors are required to submit a full manuscript for review by July 30, 2012.

Authors may register their Abstracts here: https://www.edas.info/newPaper.php?c=1215943-1634

You should receive an acknowledgement of your submission.
