Track Description
The next generation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) heavily rely on wireless communications and networking technologies. Through the use of wireless networks, vehicles and infrastructure can work as one integrated system, collaborating to provide safer and more efficient transportation. The Intelligent Transportation Network track of PIMRC aims at bringing together researchers involved in the development of the next generation of ITS to share and discuss their latest research results, in particular in areas related to vehicular and transportation related communications and networking.

List of Topics
The areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Physical Layer, RF technologies and Wireless Communications for ITS
• Vehicular Network MAC design for safety and non-safety applications
• Vehicle Infrastructure Integration
• Security and Privacy in Transportation Networks
• Networked Cyber-Physical Systems in Transportation Domain
• Policy and Planning for Intelligent Transportation Networks
• Intelligent Transportation Systems, Multi-Modal Networking
• Field operational testing and test-beds
• Vehicle Positioning

Important dates:
Paper submission: April 30, 2011
Acceptance notification: June 3rd, 2011
Final manuscript due: June 30th, 2011

All submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of five (5) printed pages (10‐point font) including figures.
