Call For Papers

EWGLA XIX Nantes, France - October 12-14, 2011 The XIXth International Meeting on Locational Analysis will be held in the city of Nantes, France. The conference is organized by the LIGERO initiative, under the auspices of the EURO Working Group on Locational Analysis (EWGLA). It will be hosted by the IRCCyN (Institut de Recherche en Communications et en Cybernétique de Nantes) laboratory.

The meeting intends to gather the operations research community from different parts of the world to share experiences in the field of locational analysis. We invite participation from all areas related to location theory including: network location, continuous location, discrete location, obnoxious location, competitive location, hub location, advanced location models, applications (logistics, network design), exact and heuristic solution methods.

Contributions are welcome from academia, industry or the public sector. In addition to presentations, the meeting is intended to be a forum for exchange of recent experiences and results. Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit an abstract of at most two pages. The submissions will be evaluated by a designated scientific committee. We will not be conducting parallel sessions, thus the number of presentations will be limited. However, we also offer the possibility to present short communications or ongoing works in the form of poster sessions.
