Call For Papers

Welcome to the Workshop on Engineering Intelligent, Trustworthy, and Secure Internet of Things (IoT) Systems, SYNERGY 2025! This workshop aims to bring together a forum for experts, researchers, and practitioners from academia and industry to share their insights, ideas, and experiences on the design, development, and deployment of intelligent, trustworthy, and secure IoT systems. The workshop forum allows a discussion on the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in the field of IoT systems and Artificial In- telligence (AI). It paves the way for exploring innovative approaches and solutions that can address the pressing issues.

The convergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) has ushered in a new era of innovative systems and services, commonly referred to as AIoT, in critical domains such as transportation, healthcare, building automation, and other es- sential infrastructure. AIoT systems have revolutionized data collection, processing, and decision-making by significantly reducing response times compared to human-dependent systems. However, these systems must be secure, preserve data privacy, and be trustwor- thy for human users to fully embrace them. Security is a crucial component of an AIoT system’s trustworthiness, alongside availability, accuracy, integrity, scalability, privacy, and reliability.
