Aim and Scope

ISCW-2016 is the first International Workshop on Information Security and Privacy for Mobile Cloud Computing, Web and Internet of Things. The aim of ISCW-2015 is to provide a premier international platform for wide range of professions including scholars, researchers, academicians and Industry people to discuss and present the most recent security and privacy challenges and developments in ‘Mobile Cloud Computing, Web and Internet of Things' from the perspective of providing security awareness and its best practices for the real world. This workshop is open to submit novel and high quality research contributions in the field of information security and privacy. We anticipate that this workshop will open new entrance for further research and technology improvements in this important area.

The scope of this Workshop encompasses, but is not restricted to, the following topics:

Paper Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit papers to the Workshop. Full papers (a maximum of 12 pages in length), industrial experience reports (a maximum of 8 pages) and posters (a maximum of 4 pages) are invited on a wide variety of topics relating to the theme of workshop. All papers must follow the IEEE proceedings format. All manuscripts will be reviewed and judged on merits including originality, significance, interest, correctness, clarity, and relevance to the broader community. Papers are strongly encouraged to report experiences, measurements, and user studies, and to provide an appropriate quantitative evaluation.

Submitted papers must include original work, and may not be under consideration for another conference or journal. They should also not be under review or be submitted to another workshop, conference, or journal during the ISCW 2016 review process. Authors should submit full papers or posters electronically following the instructions from the ICCAC 2016 conference web site. Accepted papers and posters will appear in proceedings distributed at the conference and available electronically. Authors of accepted papers/poster are expected to register for and present their work at the workshop.

Extended version of the best papers selected from the Workshop will be invited to be published in the special issues of the following journals:

1. Multimedia Tools and Applications: An International Journal, Springer (SCI, IF=1.34)

2. International Journal of Embedded System (IJES), Inderscience

3. International Journal of Big Data Intelligence (IJBDI), Inderscience

4. International Journal of Internet of Things and Cyber-Assurance (IJITCA), Inderscience
