https://sites.google.com/site/csieait2012/cfp EAIT 2012 Call for Papers (PDF) Objective The Computer Society of India (CSI) has been instrumental in guiding the Indian IT industry since its formative years. The mission of CSI is to facilitate re-search, knowledge sharing, learning and career enhancement for all categories of IT professionals, while simultaneously inspiring and nurturing new entrants into the industry and helping them to integrate into the IT community. The first one of this conference (EAIT 2006) was held in February 2006, where we had received 220 papers form India and abroad and 91 of them were accepted (approx 41%) for the conference. The EAIT 2006 proceedings were published by Elsevier (ISBN 81-312-0445-6). The second in the series, EAIT 2011 was held in February 2011, where we had received 322 papers form India and abroad and 86 of them were accepted (approx 27%) for the conference. The EAIT 2011 proceedings were published by IEEE Computer Society (ISBN 978-0-7695-4329-1, Library of Congress Number 2010942909). Encouraged by the earlier responses and keeping the tradition CSI Kolkata Chapter is organizing the Third International Conference on Emerging Applications of Information Technology (EAIT 2012). The event will comprise of Pre-Conference Tutorials, plenary sessions, invited lectures by eminent speakers of international repute, session papers and panel discussions. To recognize the tremendous growth in the field of core and application areas of information technology and in order to provide a forum to exchange ideas on the emerging areas of Information Technology and to bring together technologists, application developers and researchers from the industry, academic institutions and R&D Laboratories, CSI Kolkata Chapter will be organizing a multidisciplinary International Conference during November 29-December 01, 2012 at Kolkata. Topics Original unpublished contributions are solicited for presentation at the 2012 Third International Conference on Emerging Applications of Information Technology (EAIT 2012). The topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following: Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing e-Learning Project Management Autonomic Computing Embedded Systems RFID and Applications Banking, Insurance, Financial Applications Enterprise Applications Rural Applications Bio-Informatics and Bio Inspired Computing Extreme/Agile Programming Security and Privacy Biomedical Applications GIS and Remote Sensing Semantic Web Technologies Business Intelligence and Analytics High Performance Computing Software Design Patterns Cloud and Grid Computing Image Processing Software Engineering Computer Vision and Machine Learning Mobile Application Development Software Testing and Quality Data Mining Mobile Computing Supply Chain Management Disaster Management and Recovery Networking Technologies Symbolic Computation Distributed Computing Object Technology/Modeling Telemedicine e-Governance Pattern Recognition VLSI Paper Submission and Review Process The papers must be submitted ONLINE using double column IEEE format through Microsoft’s CMT site. Please follow the author instructions for paper format and other important information before submitting the paper for review. The submitted paper must be complete in all respects and must include results, figures, references etc. Review process will be double blind. PC may reject papers without reviewif the submission is not in proper format. Plagiarism of any form will lead to outright rejection of the paper. Publication EAIT 2012 proceedings will be published by the IEEE and will be made digitally available in IEEE Xplore in IEEE Xplore subject to fulfilling necessary conference registration and presentation formalities. Only IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF files will be accepted for final paper submissions. EAIT 2012 conference and conference proceedings will meet IEEE's quality standards, and IEEE reserves the right not to publish any proceedings that do not meet IEEE standards. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference. |
