Mounir Ghogho (International University of Rabat-Morocco/University of Leeds, UK) - UNet'2018 will feature seven special sessions - UNet'2018 will be colocated with IEEE 5G-IoT Summit Hammamet - All accepted papers will be published as part of the Springer LNCS --------------------------------------------- Call for Papers Fourth International Symposium on Ubiquitous Networking (UNet' 2018) Hammamet, Tunisia, May 02-05, 2018 http://www.unet-conf.org/ Ubiquitous networks sustain development of numerous paradigms/technologies such as distributed ambient intelligence, context-awareness, cloud computing, wearable devices, and future mobile networking (e.g., B4G and 5G). Various domains are then impacted by such a system, including security and monitoring, environment protection, e-health, agriculture, intelligent transportation. A crucial challenge is that ubiquitous networks should be engineered to better support existing and emerging applications including broadband multimedia, machine-to-machine applications, Internet of Things, sensor networks and RFID technologies. Many of these systems require stringent quality-of-service including better latency, reliability, higher spectral and energy efficiency, but also some quality-of-experience and quality-of-context constraints. The Fourth international symposium on Ubiquitous Networking (UNetí18) highlights new trends and findings in hot topics related to ubiquitous computing/networking. UNet provides an excellent opportunity to share knowledge and the practicability of sciences and technologies of information and communications. This event intends to bring together researchers and practitioners to present and discuss their recent progresses in all major areas of ubiquitous networking. UNet 2018 solicits high-quality and original contributions, and will features thematic content across the following five tracks: ========================================================================= Track 1: Ubiquitous Communication Technologies and Networking. Accepted papers will appear in the main conference proceedings, which will be published as part of the Springer LNCS. ========================================================================= Initial Papers Submission Guidelines ========================================================================= Prospective authors are invited to submit original papers with unpublished material and not currently submitted for consideration elsewhere. We invite two types of submissions: Full Technical Papers, and Short Technical Papers. Full Papers should not exceed 12 LNCS formatted pages, including figures, tables, and references. Short papers should be up to 6 pages. At least one author of each accepted paper must register to the conference and present the paper. Regular papers accepted and presented at UNet 2018 will be published as part the Springer LNCS. They will also be submitted to appear in Scopus, ISI, DBLP and other leading indexing services. All submitted papers must conform to the LNCS Formatting Guidelines. Authors are invited to use either the LNCS's Latex template or MS Word Template.
