Call For Papers

The GEYSED (Geoinformatics and Digital Signals) Development Center, from the Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas (UCI) invites to professors, students, specialists and researchers in the field of Geoinformatics to participate in the First Geoinformatics Workshop, inside the VI Scientific Conference UCIENCIA 2012, on February 20-22, 2012 in Havana, Cuba.
Scope:
To congregate institutions and professionals that research in the field related to the application of computer to earth sciences, due to socialize knowledge, establish cooperation and multilateral exchange.
Topics:
• Algorithms and techniques for processing geographical information.
• Applied geoinformatics.
• Cartography and Spatial Databases.
• Geoinformatics and Education.
• Spatial Data Infrastructure.
• Geographical Information Systems.
Papers should be sent to yvm@uci.cu according to following dates:
Papers submission deadline: December 9, 2011.
Notification of acceptance: January 15-17, 2012.
Camera ready: January 18 - 25, 2012.
Accepted papers will be published in a proceedings CD with ISBN.
