GENERAL INFORMATION
=====================
Following the success of IMTIC '08 and IMTIC '12 published by Springer CCIS series and indexed by DBLP, International Multi Topic Conference 2013 (IMTIC '13) will continue its tradition in the Education Hub of Pakistan - Jamshoro. IMTIC '13 is jointly organized by Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro, Pakistan, and Erasmus Mundus Mobility for Life program during 18-20 Dec 2013. It is an international forum for researchers to exchange information regarding novel aspects of technology, application and service development within the multidisciplinary fields of Information and Communication Technologies.

IMTIC '13 aims to bring together a wide spectrum of international experts to facilitate a creative environment for the promotion of research collaboration and knowledge transfer. In particular it will facilitate a dialogue between major industry players, entrepreneurs and academia to help create a roadmap for the development of tangible research environment in the country.

The conference program will consist of keynote speakers from both industry and academia, panel discussion and a multi-track technical program. There will be opportunities to attend interactive, high quality, peer reviewed sessions which will provide detailed insights from forward thinkers working on the themes of the conference. Additionally, there will be an exhibition for both international and niche market to display their latest products and services and to undertake a range of networking opportunities.

The proceedings of IMTIC'13 conference will be published in Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series by Springer (pending approval).
Additionally, extended version of selected papers will be published in a special issue of an SCI-indexed journal planned shortly after the conference.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

Authors are invited to submit their papers electronically as PDF files. Details about the submission process including formatting instructions will be available at the conference website, http://imtic.muet.edu.pk/. All submitted papers are subject to peer reviews by the Technical Program Committee members. Accepted papers for presentation in the conference will appear in the proceedings which will be available to the participants during the conference. More details will be made available in subsequent announcements and on our website. There will be **Best Paper Award** for outstanding contributed papers.
