*** Deadline Extended ***
By request, the submission deadline has been moved to January 23rd. -------- Call for Papers: CCOPT 2012 Workshop on Cloud Computing Optimization Papers are invited on all topics related to optimizing the execution of workloads in a cloud. Workshop papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Cloud computing poses large and complex problems for system management. CCOPT will bring together researchers, practitioners, and people from the fields of operations research and service system management to address the principles, state of the art, and challenges in optimization for cloud computing. Topics of interest include cloud-related issues in: Capacity planning, energy management, service management, scheduling Optimization for performance, QoS Cloud-based application, platform, infrastructure management Storage and network management Tolerance management for clouds Management processes and technologies, system frameworks and architectures Self-optimization components and services Monitoring, modeling, estimation for optimization of management Economic models and management Optimization models and algorithms Hierarchical and decentralized optimization Predictive optimization Submission format and procedure: Papers can be up to 6 pages in standard IEEE conference format (see link below). Authors should submit the manuscript in PDF format and make sure that the file will print on letter size paper (8.5 x 11 inch). The official language of the meeting is English. The proceedings will be published through the IEEE Computer Society Press, USA and will be made available online through the IEEE Digital Library. … Paper Format Link: http://www.computer.org/portal/web/cscps/formatting … Submission Link: https://www.easychair.org/account/signin.cgi?conf=ccopt2012 Please see the website for more details including the international program committee and an additional list of potential topics. |
