IEEE WoWMoM 2019 will host a PhD Forum where students will be able to present their dissertation research, recently finished or still ongoing, in the areas of wireless, mobile, and multimedia networking as well as ubiquitous and pervasive systems.
The forum encourages interaction among PhD students and provides them with a valuable opportunity to obtain feedback from senior researchers. The event will be organized as a poster session and will include a pitch by each student. *Requirements* The author must be a PhD student or must have completed PhD dissertation after May 2018. The student and his/her advisor can be the only authors. Authors of accepted submissions are expected to attend the PhD forum at WoWMoM 2019 and present their poster there. *Important dates* Abstract submission deadline: March 29, 2019 Acceptance notification: April 12, 2019 Camera-Ready version due: April 29, 2019 *Paper submission and publication* Prospective PhD Forum participants must submit an extended abstract not exceeding 3 pages formatted in accordance with the IEEE Computer Society author guidelines. The extended abstracts will be reviewed to ensure relevance and quality and, if accepted, will appear in the WoWMoM 2019 proceedings on IEEEXplore.
