Special Session on Temporal and Spatial Information Analysis and Management with Computational Intelligence 2020 IEEE International Conference on Fuzzy Systems (FUZZ-IEEE 2020) IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence 2020 19 - 24th July, 2020, Glasgow, Scotland (UK) Human beings live in the space world which changes dynamically with time. Almost every object, event or phenomenon in the real world is related to time and space. This has resulted in a vast coverage of temporal and spatial application fields, and the emergence of large-scale temporal and spatial information. How to analyze and manage massive temporal and spatial information has become increasingly important and ad hoc computational approaches are very essential. Temporal and spatial information (data and knowledge) in the real applications is generally complicated in the structure and semantics, and the representation, processing and management are not trivial. It has observed that, for example, vagueness is a major factor in geographical information representation and processing. At this point, we need more intelligent approaches to deal with temporal and spatial information for more effective and efficient problem resolving. It is especially true for massive temporal and spatial information. Computational intelligence is a crucial means of implementing machine intelligence. Many approaches of computational intelligence have been widely applied in intelligent processing and analysis of diverse data and knowledge. Introducing computational intelligence into temporal and spatial information analysis and management will certainly reinforce the systems in applicability, flexibility and intelligence in addition to scalability and performance. Scope and Topics The topics of interest include (but are not limited to): computational intelligence for - Temporal and spatial data semantics and modeling - Temporal and spatial data persistence and management - Flexible searching and retrieval of temporal and spatial data - Temporal and spatial data analytics and processing - Temporal and spatial knowledge fusion - Temporal and spatial knowledge extraction from massive data - Temporal and spatial knowledge representation and reasoning - Temporal and spatial knowledge computing - Temporal and spatial knowledge evolution and learning - Temporal and spatial knowledge visualization - Temporal and spatial knowledge storage, retrieval and management - Decision making with temporal and spatial knowledge Important Dates - Paper submission: January 15, 2020 - Notification of acceptance/rejection: March 15, 2020 - Final paper submission deadline: April 15, 2020 - Early Registration deadline: April 15, 2020 - Conference dates: July 19-24, 2020 Submission Papers submitted for special sessions are to be peer-reviewed with the same criteria used for the rest of contributed papers.
