Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
Currently, in silico strategies play more significant roles in biological systems because of its low costs and high performance. This special session focuses on the study of computational methods for biological systems, for example, biological system modeling and simulation, database building for biological systems, pathways and networks analysis, metabolic engineering computational approaches, virtual screening for drug discovery, target identification, .etc.
Please send submissions at the following web site: https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/BICOB2012 For any queries, please contact: Session chair: Dr. Bin Song {songbin00@gmail.com} Or BICOB-2012 Program chair: Dr. Fahd Saeed {fahad.saeed@nih.gov} The paper format is same as BICoB-2012. That is, papers will be accepted only by electronic submission (PDF only). A full paper includes title, author's name(s) and affiliation, mailing address, telephone, fax and email of the principal author. Please specify “Session: In silico strategies for biological systems” as subtitle in the submitted paper. The submitted manuscript should closely reflect the final paper as it will appear in the Proceedings which will be a maximum of 6 pages (+2 pages with additional page charge). A double-column format will be used; see template:http://www.isca-hq.org/sample-isca-manuscript-format.pdf. Journal Publication: Authors of selected papers in BICoB-2012, including this special session, will be invited to submit extended version of their papers for possible publication in the Journal of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (JBCB). |
