Call for Papers (extended): The 2012 International Conference of Systems Biology and Bioengineering (ICSBB 2012)
CFP (extended): The 2012 International Conference of Systems Biology and Bioengineering (ICSBB 2012) From: International Association of Engineers (IAENG) Draft Paper Submission Deadline (extended): 18 March, 2012 Camera-Ready papers & Registration Deadline: 31 March, 2012 ICSBB 2012: London, U.K., 4-6 July, 2012 http://www.iaeng.org/WCE2012/ICSBB2012.html The conference ICSBB'12 is held under the World Congress on Engineering 2012. The WCE 2012 is organized by International Association of Engineers (IAENG), a non-profit international association for the engineers and the computer scientists. The congress has the focus on the frontier topics in the theoretical and applied engineering and computer science subjects. The WCE conferences serve as good platforms for our members and the entire engineering community to meet with each other and to exchange ideas. The recent IAENG conference has attracted more than eight hundred participants from over 30 countries. Our congress committees have been formed with over three hundred committee members who are mainly research center heads, faculty deans, department heads, professors, and research scientists from different universities like Cambridge, Imperial College, Harvard, MIT and Oxford etc. The conference proceedings will be published by IAENG (ISBN: 978-988-19251-3-8) in hardcopy. The full-text congress proceeding will be indexed in major database indexes so that it can be assessed easily. Revised and expanded version of the selected papers may be included as book chapters in the standalone edited books under the framework of cooperation between publishers like Springer and IAENG. The abstracts will be indexed and available at major academic databases. The accepted papers will also be considered for publication in the special issues of the journal Engineering Letters, in IAENG journals and in edited books. For reference, the recent IAENG post conference edited books include titles like for example: Current Themes in Engineering Science by America Institute of Physics, Trends in Intelligent Systems and Computer Engineering, Advances in Communication Systems and Electrical Engineering, and Advances in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research by Springer. The topics of the ICSBB'12 include, but not limited to, the following: Microarray Pathways and Networks Computational Biology Computational Neurobiology Computational Ecology Drug Discovery Proteomics Development Theory Metabolism Cellular Signalling Evolution Phylogenetics Sequence Motifs Sequence Alignments Genetics Structure and Regulation Functional Genomics Regulatory Modelling Genetic Variations Mathematical Biology Combinators Data Mining Data Visualization Stochastic Modelling Hidden Markov Model Ontologies Sequencing Algorithms Biocomputing Bioinformatics Bioinformatics Projects Linguistic Methods Medical Imaging Image Processing Signal Processing Medical Devices Medical Instrumentation Health Care Technology Molecular Bioengineering The ICSBB Program Committee ICSBB Conference Committee Dr Ali Al-Shahib University Advanced Research Fellow, Department of Electronic, Electrical & Computer Engineering, The University of Birmingham, United Kingdom Prof. Maia Angelova Professor of Mathematical Physics, Leader of Intelligent Modelling Lab.,School of Computing, Engineering and Information Sciences, Northumbria University, UK Prof. Mietek Brdys Head of 'Decision Support and Control Systems' Network Research Centre and Director of Postgraduate Admissions, Department of Electronic, Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of Birmingham, UK Professor, Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering, Dept. of Control Systems, Gdansk University of Technology, Poland Prof. Mario Cannataro (co-chair) Associate Professor, Informatics and Biomedical Engineering, University "Magna Graecia" of Catanzaro, Viale Europa (Localita Germaneto), Italy Dr. Dechang Chen Assistant professor, Department of Preventive Medicine and Biometrics at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, USA Dr. Tina Chowdhury Research scientist, Department of Engineering, Queen Mary, University of London, UK Dr. Diganta Bhusan Das (co-chair) Lecturer, Department of Chemical Engineering, Loughborough University, UK Dr. Daniel M Espino Marie Curie Research Fellow, the School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Birmingham, UK Prof. Farhad Nabhani (co-chair) Professor - Biomechanics and Manufacturing, School of Science and Technology, MSc Course Leader, University of Teesside, UK Prof. Raouf Naguib ( co-chair) Professor of Biomedical Computing and Head, BIOCORE Adjunct Research Professor, Carleton University, Canada Honorary Research Professor, De La Salle University, the Philippines Biomedical Computing and Engineering Technologies (BIOCORE) Applied Research Group, Faculty of Engineering and Computing, Coventry University, United Kingdom Professor Francesco Pinciroli (co-chair) Professor & Chair, Informatica Medica + Sistemi Informativi Sanitari e Telemedicina, Dipartimento di Bioingegneria del Politecnico di Milano, Piazza Leonardo da Vinci, Italy Honorary Visiting Professor at the City University of London, UK Dr. Ann Reddipogu Lecturer and Researcher, School of Engineering, The Robert Gordon University, UK Dr. Anxo Cereijo Roibas Senior Lecturer, School of Computing, Mathematical & Information Sciences, University of Brighton, UK Dr. Anne-Virginie Salsac Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University College London, UK Dr. Duncan ET Shepherd Senior Lecturer in Bio-medical Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, University of Birmingham, UK Prof. Andrew Todd-Pokropek Professor of Medical Physics and Head of Department, Department of Medical Physics and Bioengineering, University College London, UK Dr. Bin Wang Reader in Engineering, Programme Coordinator of MSc in Safety Engineering, Risk Analysis and Management, School of Physical Sciences, King's College, University of Aberdeen, UK Editor of the International Journal of Mechancial Engineering Education Prof. Wen Wang (co-chair) Professor, Chair of Biomedical Engineering, Room 340 Department of Engineering, Queen Mary, University of London, UK Dr. Daciana Udrea Lecturer, Civil and Mechanical Division, School of Engineering, University of Warwick, UK ========= Submission: WCE 2012 is now accepting manuscript submissions. Prospective authors are invited to submit their draft paper in full paper (any appropriate style) to WCE{at}iaeng.org by 18 March, 2012.
