Dear colleagues,
The following Special Issue will be published in Polymers (ISSN 2073-4360, http://www.mdpi.com/journal/polymers/). On behalf of the Guest Editor, Dr. Michael D. Guiver, we would like to invite you to contribute an outstanding long review or full research paper for peer-review and possible publication: Special Issue: Polymers for Fuel Cells & Solar Energy Website: http://www.mdpi.com/si/polymers/fuel_cells/ Guest Editor: Dr. Michael D. Guiver Deadline for manuscript submissions: 30 June 2012 This Special Issue will cover the following topics, but not limited to: proton exchange anion exchange membrane fuel cell proton conduction PEMFC solar cell photovoltaic bandgap donor-acceptor If you decide to contribute, please kindly let us know. You may send your manuscript now or up until the deadline. Submitted papers should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We also encourage authors to send us their tentative title and short abstract by e-mail for approval to the Editorial Office at polymers@mdpi.com. This Special Issue will be fully open access. The Article Processing Charges (APC) are 300 CHF per accepted paper before 1 July 2012. In addition, a fee of 250 CHF may apply if English editing or extensive revisions must be undertaken by the Editorial Office. More information can be found at http://www.mdpi.com/about/apc/. Open access (unlimited and free access by readers) increases publicity and promotes more frequent citations, as indicated by several studies. Open access is supported by the authors and their institutes. More information is available at http://www.mdpi.com/about/openaccess/. Please visit the Instructions for Authors before submitting a manuscript: http://www.mdpi.com/journal/polymers/instructions/. Manuscripts should be submitted through the online manuscript submission and editorial system at http://www.mdpi.com/user/manuscripts/upload/. Polymers is an international, open access journal that provides an interdisciplinary forum for publications covering all aspects of Polymer Science, aimed at advancing the understanding of all kinds of polymers. Polymers is abstracted and indexed by Scopus / SciVerse, EI COMPENDEX, Chemical Abstracts (CAS), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), EBSCOhost, Google Scholar, INSPEC, Open-J-Gate, etc. MDPI publishes several peer-reviewed, open access journals listed at http://www.mdpi.com/. The Editorial Board members, including several Nobel Laureates (http://www.mdpi.com/about/nobelists/), are all leading active scholars.
