Digital Strategies for Government and Business
Call for Papers Taking a strategic view of ICT has never been more needed than now. Most government would say they do, but do they really? What does it take to transform government by ICT? Or, should the ambitions be lowered? What can realistically be achieved and what cannot? Whether you are a policy maker, strategist, researcher, or consultant, we call on you to share your experience with high level ambitions using ICT. Other relevant questions are: • Which strategic frameworks do or should inform the deployment of ICT-based solutions in government? • How do private sector strategies compare? What are the lessons of deploying ICT-based solutions at corporate level? • Looking back, what is the lesson from strategies (such as the Digital Agenda, i2010, eEurope 2005) at European level, or from national mirror plans and initiatives? - What factors need to be in place to embrace truly transformative digital strategies? - Looking to the future, where is digital strategy heading? The deadline of submissions is scheduled for the 30th of April. The issue editor is Trond Arne Undheim (http://www.epractice.eu/en/people/undheim). Papers should be sent to vassilia.orfanou@eurodyn.com |
