2012 Theme: Health Informatics for Public Health

The inaugural Computational Data Analytics Workshop (CDAW 2012) aims to bring
together leading researchers, scientists and scholars from academia, industry and
government to exchange and share research results, experience, challenges and
solutions in Computational Data Analytics (CDA).

Each year the workshop will have a focal topic. For the first CDAW, the theme is
Health Informatics for Public Health.

CDAW 2012 invites the submission of papers on original and previously unpublished
research in computational data analytics as it relates to public health.

Notification of Acceptance August 13, 2012
Camera-Ready Paper/Poster Due August 31, 2012
Registration Deadline August 31, 2012

Submissions Guidelines and Workshop Proceedings

CDAW welcomes 2 types of submissions:
1. Full papers of 4 to 8 pages of work not already published or under review for
publication in other conferences or journals.
2. Student Posters (abstracts of up to 500 words are submitted for review).
Submissions are accepted only electronically, in PDF format. Papers must conform
to the IEEE conference paper style. Papers may not exceed 8 pages including all
figures, tables, references, and supplementary material. Reference style files for
papers are available at

Final poster size is 30” X 40”.
