On behalf of the workshop chairs, the Pattern Recognition and Image Processing Group and the Institute of Telecommunications, at the Vienna University of Technology, we invite you to participate in the 18th Computer Vision Winter Workshop.

The workshop will take place in Seminarhotel Schloss Hernstein, (http://www.schloss-hernstein.at/), Hernstein, Austria, from February 4th to 6th, 2013. The Computer Vision Winter Workshop is an annual international symposium with primary focus in the field of computer vision and pattern recognition. The aim of the workshop is to foster interaction and exchange of ideas among researchers and PhD students. Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original work. All papers will be peer-reviewed by an international program committee.

In the spirit of CVWW, which was founded with the specific goal of attracting and stimulating young researches, two ÖCG Best Student Paper awards are offered. The winning students will be selected by the Technical Program Committee, based on the written paper as well as the presentation of their work. Winners will be recognized at the workshop with a prize of €250 each.
