Kennesaw State University (KSU) Asian Studies Program announces the Call for Papers and Presentations for the 2013 Symposium on Asia-USA Partnership Opportunities (SAUPO) – the largest Asia Business Conference in Southern USA. The goal of SAUPO is to share research and best practices among business people, scholars, and policymakers regarding the partnership opportunities between ASIA and the USA. Business leaders will interact with scholars from all over the world to discuss both domestic and global concerns. Diplomats and policy makers will be present at the conference. The Journal of Emerging Knowledge on Emerging Markets (JEKEM) is published by the ICA Institute. Dr. Govind Hariharan, the Executive Director of ICA Institute has committed to give priority in reviewing papers submitted to SAUPO. http://digitalcommons.kennesaw.edu/jekem/

The Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing (JBIM), published by the Emerald Group, will create a special issue to accept qualified papers submitted to SAUPO. Dr. Wesley Johnston, SAUPO Scientific Committee member, is the editor of JBIM. Abstract Submission Guidelines:
To present at 2013 SAUPO, please submit a 300-350 word abstract by Friday, January 18, 2013. In addition, if you want your paper to be published in either JBIM (full papers only) or JEKEM, your FULL PAPER submission must be received by February 15, 2013. All abstracts/papers should be sent toasianstudies@kennesaw.edu. In the subject line of the email, indicate "2013 SAUPO Abstract" or "2013 SAUPO Paper."

Important Dates:

Deadline for Abstract/Paper Submission: Friday January 18, 2013
Abstract acceptance/rejection: February 1, 2013
Full paper submission: February 15, 2013

Note: At least one author of each accepted paper or abstract must attend the conference and present the paper.
