Call For Papers
About the Conference This event is the premier international meeting in the fields of Design Engineering and Computers and Information in Engineering. This event is designed to showcase cutting edge research and accomplishments, and to enrich the educational experience in these fields. The purpose of this meeting is to advance the understanding of the base of knowledge that we will collectively draw upon in the years ahead to meet the challenges and realize opportunities. Technical Conferences Technical papers shall be presented in the following conferences: 15th International Conference on Advanced VehicleTechnologies (AVT) 33rd Computers and Information in Engineering Conference (CIE) 39th Design Automation Conference (DAC) 10th International Conference on Design and Design Education (DEC) 18th Design for Manufacturing and the Life Cycle Conference (DFMLC) 25th International Conference on Design Theory and Methodology (DTM) 37th Mechanisms and Robotics Conference (MR) 2013 ASME/IEEE International Conference on Mechatronic and Embedded Systems and Applications (MESA2013) 7th International Conference on Micro- and Nanosystems (MNS) 9th International Conference on Multibody Systems, Nonlinear Dynamics, and Control (MSNDC) 12th ASME International Power Transmission and Gearing Conference (PTG) 22nd Reliability, Stress Analysis, and Failure Prevention Conference (RSAFP) 25th Biennial Conference on Mechanical Vibration and Noise (VIB) For more information, view the technical conferences descriptions. Paper Submission Technical papers and presentations on various topics of engineering design are solicited for the conference. Please refer to the individual call for papers for each conference and contact the respective conference chairs for inquiries about the conference. The conference will include plenary sessions, keynote lectures, and tutorials on topics related to engineering design. Industry participation is particularly welcome; indeed, we hope the conference will provide opportunities for fruitful communication between the research and industrial communities. Authors should submit an abstract and draft paper through the IDETC/CIE 2013 website. For assistance with submitting your abstract online, please view the author help manual. All papers are expected to follow ASME editorial standards. All conference papers will be made available on a DVD-ROM available at the meeting. The DVD-ROM is not the official proceedings of the conference. Please see the ASME Presenter Attendance Policy. Publication Schedule If you are planning to submit an abstract and draft paper for consideration, please note the IDETC/CIE 2013 publication schedule. Upon successful online submission, you will receive a confirmation and an assigned paper number. For more information, view the full publication schedule. |
