The book will be published by ARTECH HOUSE PUBLISHERS, INC. and the estimated publication date is September 2013.

Call for Contributions:

The aim of this book is the analysis of the ocean wave energy conversion technology from an integral point of view including not only the technical topics related with the physical conversion of energy from waves but also the social and economic impact of this technology.

Chapters of original research on Ocean Wave Energy Management and Integration are solicited in the areas listed next and beyond:

Historical review and State of the Art, Ocean wave energy fundamentals, Technology for ocean wave energy conversion, Economics of Ocean wave energy conversion, Environmental impact assessment, and so forth.

Important Dates:

Author’s intention to contribute a book chapter (title and abstract): November 15, 2012
Full chapter submission deadline: March 10, 2013
Author feedback and notification of decisions: May 10, 2013
Final manuscript submission: June 10, 2013

Electronic Submission:

The interested authors should email their intention to contribute to the book by sending the chapter title and abstract (about 300 words) to Ahmed.Zobaa@brunel.ac.uk by November 15, 2012. When accepted, full book chapters should be prepared according to the standard Artech House Publishers, Inc. format. An author kit will be sent to the chapter contributors after the abstract acceptance.
