We are very pleased to announce the start of the Abstract submission for the EGU General Assembly 2015 (EGU2015), 12-17 April 2015, Vienna, Austria. You are cordially invited to submit your scientific works to our session:

ESSI2.16: Advances in metadata, data quality, data preservation, quality of services and usabilty for geosciences

The session is devoted to present the state of art information systems in geosciences (geology, geophysics, etc.) such as: standards (metadata, vocabularies, data models), interoperability in earth sciences (Web services, Quality of Services, Open standards), data circulation and services (quality assurance / quality control, preservation, network services). The session also covers the usefulness of information for science and society.
Geosciences data managers and data users are encouraged to take part in this session to present their requirements and their services as well.

The deadline for the receipt of abstracts is 07 January 2015, 13:00 CET. In case you would like to apply for support, please submit an application no later than 28 November 2014.
