Conference Theme: "Critically Examining Information Fluency Education."
Submissions must be sent electronically at the conference website at www.ce.ucf.edu/if •Abstract containing not more than four (4) sentences accurately describing your presentation. This abstract will be included in the conference program if your presention is accepted by the program committee. • Title of Presentation (limit of 100 characters). • Practical Application: explain how your presentation will present practical and usable techniques or information for expanding IF education. • Type of Session: Individual Presentation, Panel Presentation, Roundtable Discussion, or Poster Session. • Description of the Content and Format (in 300 or fewer words). Include specific topics to be covered in the session. • Media to be used and audiovisual equipment needed (if any). The following audiovisual equipment will be available in each room: data projector equipped with a universal VGA cable to accommodate both PC and MAC platforms, Internet connection, and a screen. Presenters should plan to provide their own computer equipment or other specialized equipment. • Once you have entered your information on the website, as required, ensure you send an email with a cover page that includes the title, abstract, and primary contact/presenter, and then include not more than four (4) pages with an explanation of the presentation, rationale for the presentation, active learning exercises that will be included, and a brief biographical sketch of each presenter including: name, highest earned degree, title, college or university, address, telephone number and email address.
