Special Session on Evolving Networks@DSAA2017 - The 4th IEEE International Conference on Data Science and Advanced Analytics
Oct 2017, Tokyo, Japan http://www.dslab.it.aoyama.ac.jp/dsaa2017/specialsessions/#EvolNet Call for Papers: When objects in the data are associated with relationships between themselves, the complexity of the data increases and so is the information gained from it. This complexity augments when these objects and relationships change over time. In view of that there are many open challenges in the context of scalable analytics of evolving networks calling the attention of researchers from Knowledge Discovery, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence communities. This emerging topic will instigate many innovative data science solutions and move towards advanced analytics techniques. We expect heterogeneous proposals integrating fields such as graph stream mining, social networks analysis, distributed processing and predictive analysis in a changing and evolving milieu. Topics of Interest: This special session is intended to attract researchers who are actively engaged in theoretical, technical and application oriented aspects of Evolving networks. The topics include, but are not limited to the following: Evolutionary network analysis Social networks and social media Graph data analytics Sampling from evolving networks Network data mining Distributed network analysis and mining Statistical techniques for network analysis and mining Temporal and streaming networks Predictive modeling on evolving networks Change detection, anomaly detection Incorporating network content in evolution analysis Community detection in evolving networks Important Dates: Special Session Paper Submission: May 25, 2017 Notification of acceptance: July 25, 2017 Camera-Ready: Aug 15, 2017 Advanced Registration: Aug. 31, 2017 Publications: All accepted papers of the special session, will be published by IEEE and will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. The conference proceedings will be submitted for EI indexing through INSPEC by IEEE. Top quality papers accepted and presented at the conference will be selected for extension and invited to the special issues of International Journal of Data Science and Analytics (JDSA, Springer) |
