The Fourth Workshop on Ubiquitous Music will take place at the University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS), during the first week of December 2013. Researchers dealing with sonic and musical applications of information technology are invited to share proposals, initial results and complete research projects.

Selected papers will be included in the book Ubiquitous Music, within the Computational Music Science Series published by Springer Press. The book will feature reports on sonic composition, human-computer interaction, educational applications and cognitive research focused on pervasive music. We plan on a balanced selection of theoretical, methodological and applied results. The target public are researchers in computer science, music, psychology, social sciences, and education technology.

Texts should be written in English and formatted according to the SBC templates provided below. Full papers will be 12 pages, including references and illustrations. All written materials should be submitted as Portable Document Format (PDF) files.
