Smart spaces (SS) represents an advanced communication environment featuring daily-life objects that continuously involve and are focused on final non-expert users. SS has rapidly emerged as an exciting new paradigm that tends to include different active research fields such as ubiquitous, grid, and P2P computing. SS environments have recently raised tremendous interests in both the academic and the industrial research communities as one of the most promising application fields for pervasive computing services. The WTA 2015 aims to address system and network issues for SS communications. It will solicit both original research papers and review articles that enhance the state-of-the-art in these fields, including topics like effective context extraction and representation, context-based service discovery, context-based service composition, integration of legacy systems and services, security theory, business models, and novel applications that are associated with SS utilization. The papers will be peer reviewed by at least three independent reviewers and will be selected on the basis of their quality and relevance to the theme of this conference. =================== Topics (includes, but is not limited to, the areas listed below) =================== -Architectures, protocols and algorithms of WSN -Energy, management and control of WSN -Resource allocation, services, QoS and fault tolerance in WSN -Performance and simulation and modelling of WSN -Network Middleware and protocols for WSN -Security and monitoring of WSN -Deployments and implementations of WSN -Energy optimization for WSN -UCA-WSN applications and services -Ubiquitous Context Awareness -Context-aware models and control -Ubiquitous and context-aware computing -Context-aware networks and communications -Context-awareness reasoning and representation -Context-awareness-based systems -Locations awareness services -Adaptive and context-based multimodal interaction -Context-awareness in energy-efficient computing -Context-awareness in smart spaces -Use of context-aware technologies for HCI -Context-aware advertising -Portable and smart devices -Context-aware services -Awareness mechanism and modeling -Power-aware software/hardware/algorithms/protocols -Pervasive/ubiquitous media and services -Smart vehicle/road/traffic/transportation -Internet of Things -Advanced security, privacy, authentication, trust for WSN/IoT ========================= Organization ========================= ==Organizing Chairs== Han-Chieh Chao, National Ilan University, Taiwan Gangman Yi, Gangneung-Wonju National University, Korea Neil Y. Paper Submission Due: March 20, 2015 (No. Extensions!!) 2. Author Accept Notification - Without review comments: March 30, 2015 - Sending review comments: April 15, 2015 3. Registration Due: April 10, 2015 4. Symposium Dates: May 18-20, 2015 5. Journal Recommendations: May 30, 2015 - Sending the potential authors the detailed guideline ======================= Submission Guidelines ======================= There will be a combination of presentations including scientific papers. Prospective authors are invited, in the first instance, to submit papers for oral presentations in any of the areas of interest for this symposium. First, authors should submit a paper with 5~6 pages in length, including all figures, tables, and references. If you want to submit more than page limitation, you can add up to 2 extra pages with the appropriate fee payment. (Springer LNCS format) If your paper will be recommended to the SCI/E journals (after closing the symposium), the authors MUST submit full paper with 6~8 pages for the journal submission. We will send the official recommendation letter including journal submission instruction to all authors who presented in our symposium (the page limits are based on double column). Symposium submission system: http://www.editorialsystem.net/ft2015 **Authors MUST choose topic as “WTA 2015” at the submission system**. ====================================== Proceedings and Journal Publications ====================================== First, only all abstracts - one page will be included in symposium proceeding (without ISBN/ISSN). We are expecting to accept only 20~30 high quality papers. After closing the symposium, all accepted and presented papers in WTA 2015 will be recommended to SCI/E journals (Top ranked papers: 50%) - Springer: JoS, CC & Hindawi: IJDSN, JoS. ==================== Contact Information ==================== If you have any questions about the CFPs and papers submission, please email to Prof. Gangman Yi (yi.gangman@gmail.com) / Prof. Neil Yen (neil219@gmail.com) - The End - |
