CALL FOR PAPERS
The 8th International Conference on Forensic Computer Science (ICoFCS 2013) See website at http://www.icofcs.org The main purpose of THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FORENSIC COMPUTER SCIENCE (ICoFCS) is to bring together researchers interested in Forensic Computer Science, in order to foster development in this matter. We foresee major advances and development in Forensic Computer Science by means encouraging researchers from Universities, Research Centers and Law Enforcement Agencies from all over the world to submit their papers on this conference. The International Conference on Forensic Computer Science (IJoFCS) is organized jointly with the ICCyber (The International Conference on Cyber Crime Investigation), on the same venue and date. The ICoFCS is hosted by The Brazilian Association of High Tecnology Experts (www.abeat.org.br), and supported by the University of Brasília, by means the Electrical Engineering Department (www.ene.unb.br). This conference has an international committee of reviewers from several countries. In addition, papers are rigorously reviewed by three committee members, experts on the matter aborted in such papers. Only the papers with recognized scientific rigor are accepted, presented at the conference and published in its proceedings. The ICoFCS is an Open Access Conference, so that your paper will have a worldwide audience, and your published paper will have nice visibility and impact in scientific community. ICoFCS provides free access to all papers as soon as they are published. All papers published in the ICoFCS Proceedings have DOI numbers, and are registered in the CrossRef Database. This conference is ranked by Capes/Qualis in stratum B5, in the area of Computer Science. The conference will be held in São Paulo, Brazil, on August 14th to 16th, 2013. ICoFCS’ AUTHORS Authors who have paper accepted by ICoFCS don’t pay any registration fee to attend the conference, and also to publish their papers on the proceedings. BEST PAPER AWARD The author of the best paper will grant an award of R$3.000,00 (approx. US$1,500), an award plaque, certificate, and up to a five nights stay at the conference hotel (for one of the authors including breakfast and lunch). IMPORTANT DATES Paper Submission: June 5th, 2013. Authors Notification: July 4th, 2013. Camera Ready: July 26th, 2013. Conference: August 14th to 16th, 2013.
