The Cambridge Academic Design Management Conference 2013 will present papers on design management. Key themes for this year are:

Strategic design
Service design
Systems design
Sustainability

Abstracts on any theme related to design management will be considered for the conference.
Submissions

Authors are required to submit a 1000 word abstract, which will undergo a double blind review.

Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to prepare a full paper (14 pages maximum length) for oral presentation at the Conference on Wednesday 4 or Thursday 5 September 2013.

Papers are accepted on the understanding that the manuscript is an original work and has not been copyrighted, published, or accepted for presentation at any other conference.

At least one author of each accepted paper must register, attend the conference, and present the paper.
Abstracts

The abstract (no more than 1000 words) should be submitted, by 24 February 2013, as a Microsoft Word document and should contain the title and the main text only. No author information should be included in the abstract document. Papers will be blind reviewed, so please ensure you do not put the author names or affiliations in the abstract – you will be able to enter this information via the on-line system.

Abstract Acceptance

Authors will be advised if their abstract has been accepted for the conference on, or shortly after, 25 March 2013. Abstracts will be accepted on the understanding that it is an original work and has not been copyrighted, published, or accepted for presentation at any other conference.
Full Papers

Full papers of accepted abstracts should be submitted in English in MS Word by 18 July 2013. Papers must not exceed 14 pages. Please note the number of pages must be even, due to Conference Proceedings layout reasons.
