Call For Papers

Dear colleagues!
Vth International Conference “Language in the Aspect of Cultural Interaction” (LACI) is a conference organized School of Education at Far Eastern Federal University in Russia. The conference is held every two years since 2005. The teachers and researchers from Korea, Japan, China are our regular guests and participants in workshops and academic sessions.

The aim of the conference is:
 to help transmit ideas and strategies of effective teachers and researchers.
 to consider the most vital problems of teaching culture and languages.
 to back establishing professional connections between teachers and researchers of the Russian Far East and their overseas colleagues.

LACI calls for papers focused on the problems:
1. The problems of cross-cultural communication.
2. Language studies through cross-cultural communication (linguistic world-image; cognitive and pragmatic aspects of language units)
3. Language Study in the Age of Globalization
4. Cross-cultural communication problems through the studies of Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and History.
5. Cross-cultural communication in Teaching and Learning of Foreign Languages.

Official languages: English, Russian

The participation is possible by correspondence through publishing materials.
The printed version of the article should be 8 pages on the A4 form; Microsoft Word 98 or later.

Pictures, schemes and tables are permitted in the text but not more than 1.

Researchers are encouraged to submit their work electronically. The applications, abstracts and articles deadline – 31th of March, 2013 to e-mail: konferenciya2013@bk.ru
The article and the application with abstract are two different documents. The former should be named after the author surname (for example: Ivanov.doc).

The Conference Committee notifies the acceptance in 3 days.

Expenses for printing one author's collection of articles and expenses for sending the book are up to the authors. The fee is 150 rubles ($ 5) for 1 page of the text.
