Call For Papers

Technological innovations and the Internet have contributed to the rise of cyber attacks. As a result, the need to recover and understand how a system can be the target or the tool of the attack leads to the forensic examination of digital evidence. Digital forensics is a multidisciplinary area that brings together academia, law enforcement and the industry with attempts to explore and improve practices and procedures. This mini track seeks contributions from academics and practitioners that illustrate the advances being made in the field of digital forensics.

Suggested topics include but are not limited to:

· Technological advances in digital forensics
· Digital forensic investigation challenges
· Anti-forensics and detection methods
· Recovery and reconstruction of data
· Education in digital forensics
· Tools, techniques and methods
· Case studies
