The public administrations made great effort to provide more sophisticated E-Government services, for example offering one-stop services and supporting personalization. While strategies, methodologies and realization of E-Government services vary significantly among the various actors and stakeholders, the alignment of information and communication technologies (ICT) with the processes and objectives of the service providers plays an increasing role in the service management.
The MeTTeG conference intends to bring together researchers and practitioners active in the area of the E-government with a focus on the role played by the information and communication technologies. It provides a forum for participants from different perspectives and disciplines to present innovative methodologies, technologies and tools, share experiences and lessons learned from case studies and discuss challenges.

The main keywords are: methodologies, technologies and tools. Methodologies play an increasingly important role in the management and definition of e-government initiatives. Technologies improve their efficiency and effectiveness while tools allow new specific services and functionalities.
