The Fourth International Csound Conference – ICSC2017 will take place in Montevideo, Uruguay, from September 29 to October 1, 2017.

The ICSC is an artistic and academic event where members of the international Csound community meet for three days of concerts, paper presentations, keynote talks and round tables.

Everyone is cordially invited to submit proposals for papers and music, or to simply join us for this gathering.

The ICSC2017 is organized by eMe (Estudio de Música Electroacústica de la Escuela Universitaria de Música — University School of Music Electronic Music Studio) in collaboration with the GPA (Grupo de Procesamiento de Audio — Audio Processing Group).

Calls and submissions
The Fourth International Csound Conference – ICSC2017 welcomes the submission of music and papers covering all topics related to Csound.

All contributions will be submitted through the EasyChair conference system, and will be peer-reviewed in a double blind process by a qualified committee. Details and guidelines will be published in due course.

Call for papers
Papers are welcomed on all topics related to Csound.

The list of topics of interest includes, but is not limited to, the following:

novel sound synthesis and/or processing techniques
new Csound opcodes
new interfaces, front ends and development environments
Csound in real time
Csound on embedded systems
live coding with Csound
Csound in web-based applications
algorithmic composition with Csound
creative projects using Csound

Call for music
Submissions will be accepted in the following categories:

electronic music on fixed medium
live electronics
mixed electroacoustic music
sound installations
Two systems will be available for sound diffusion: a stereo 2.1 system, and an octophonic 8.2 system distributed in a regular octagon.
