Illuminate is to shine light into darkness and show what is there.
Illuminate is to explain and clarify unknown concepts to create the “ah-ha” moment.

The AIMBI Illuminate conference will let you shine your light and discuss with an audience of your peers what motivates, excites or challenges you. We invite you to come to Melbourne from the 12th to 15th of September 2013 and present a paper to imaging professionals from the medical and scientific fields.

We are looking for papers that will illuminate the way photographers and illustrators work in industry today.
• Working with the digital revolution
• Traditional techniques in the modern age
• Dealing with a changing workplace
• New ways to perform old jobs

Abstracts of up to 250 words will be accepted until 26th July 2013. Please be concise and clear in your aims and objectives. If chosen, you will be contacted to also provide a short resume on your professional career.

Remember, as a speaker at a national conference, it is worth trying to get support from your employer to cover any costs incurred.
