Second Call for Papers S C A I 2 0 1 1 The Eleventh Scandinavian Conference on Artificial Intelligence May 24-26, 2011 NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) Trondheim, Norway http://events.idi.ntnu.no/scai2011 ********************************************************************** The eleventh Scandinavian AI conference, SCAI 2011, will be held in Trondheim, Norway, on May 24-26, 2011. The conference is co-organised by IDI, NTNU (Department of Computer and Information Science) and NAIS, the Norwegian Artificial Intelligence Society. On May 24 there will be tutorials, workshops, and an industrial challenges seminar. We encourage submissions of workshop topics. Tutorials will be given by Finn V. Jensen, Ålborg University, on "Graphical decision models - representation and solution" and Thomas Ågotnes, University of Bergen, on "Coordinating multi-agent systems using social laws". The main conference will run May 25-26. Michael Wooldridge, University of Liverpool, UK will give an invited talk. Contributions to the conference are welcome from all areas of Artificial Intelligence. This includes, but is not limited to: Machine learning, Knowledge representation and reasoning, Planning and scheduling, Natural language, Computer vision, Search algorithms, Multi-agent systems, Artificial life, Cognitive robotics, Probabilistic graphical models, Industrial applications, and Philosophical foundations. Submissions should be 10 pages long following the publisher's (IOS Press) instructions, and submitted before January 28, 2011. Contributions may be accepted either for oral presentation or as posters. All accepted contributions will be published in the proceedings of the conference. We will use the EasyChair system to handle submissions.
