This interdisciplinary journal aims to focus on the exchange of relevant trends and research results as well as the presentation of practical experiences gained while developing and testing elements of technology enhanced learning. So it aims to bridge the gape between pure academic research journals and more practical publications. So it covers the full range from research, application development to experience reports and product descriptions.
Fields of interest include, but are not limited to: * Software / Distributed Systems * Knowledge Management * Semantic Web * MashUp Technologies * Platforms and Content Authoring * New Learning Models and Applications * Pedagogical and Psychological Issues * Trust / Security * Internet Applications * Networked Tools * Mobile / wireless * Electronics * Visualisation * Bio- / Neuroinformatics * Language /Speech * Collaboration Tools / Collaborative Networks Peer Review Process: The submitted papers should be original, unpublished, and not in consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission to iJET. All paper submissions will be refereed in a double-blind review process by at least two international reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area. Publication Frequency: The publication frequency of the iJET journal is quarterly (March, June, September, December). Editorial deadline is one month ago: 1st of February , 1st of May, 1st of August, 1st of November Open Access Policy: This journal provides open access to all of it content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Such access is associated with increased readership and increased citation of an author's work. For more information on this approach, see the Public Knowledge Project, which has designed this system to improve the scholarly and public quality of research, and which freely distributes the journal system as well as other software to support the open access publishing of scholarly resources. Archiving: This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
