The 2014 International Workshop on GReen Optimized Wireless Networks
(GROWN-2014) October 8, 2014, Larnaka, Cyprus (http://events.kustar.ac.ae/grown2014) In conjunction with The 10th IEEE International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Computing, Networking and Communications (WiMob 2014) October 8-10, 2014, Larnaka, Cyprus (http://conferences.computer.org/WiMob2014) The workshop will be organized as a one-day event comprising of several technical sessions. This workshop provides an international forum for the research community working in the area of energy efficient wireless communication networks. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: • Green wireless network architecture • Energy efficient network topology • Energy efficient routing protocol • Energy efficient MAC protocol • Energy efficiency in advanced cellular networks / 4G/ LTE-A/5G • Energy efficient radio resource allocation • Energy efficiency in wireless networks • Energy efficiency in vehicular networks • Optimization models and algorithms • Energy harvesting WSNs • Cooperative radio communications for green and smart environments • Energy efficient heterogeneous wireless networks • Energy-aware cross-layer optimization for energy saving Important dates Papers submission due: 16th June, 2014 Notification of Acceptance: 26th July, 2014 Camera Ready Paper: 18th August, 2014 Advanced Registration: 26th August, 2014 Workshop date: 8th October, 2014 Submission guidelines IEEE GROWN Workshop accepts only original, previously unpublished papers in all areas of energy efficient wireless networks. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit a maximum of 8-pages IEEE conference style paper (including all text, figures, and references) through EDAS submission system (http://www.edas.info). All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and by the IEEE, and will be accessible via IEEE Explore Digital Library. Authors are required to submit fully formatted papers (PDF), with graphs, images, and other special areas arranged as intended for the final publication. Papers should be written in English conforming to the IEEE standard conference format (8.5" x 11" - US letter, Two-Column). |
