Call for Papers: Sport Science Review
The editors of the Sport Science Review are looking for contributors for its inaugural english edition. The submitted works should be between 5,000 and 8,000 words in length (bibliography included). Contributions are welcome from professionals and scholars in the field, as well as from PhD and post-doctoral students. The Review may also consider exceptional contributions from Masters level students. The Sport Science Review is an academic publication (B+ category) issued by the National Institute for Sport Research and Sport Science Council, Romania. The Review aims to provide a rigorous academic perspective on sport issues. Its goal is to bring together professionals, scholars and students of Sport Studies, and to provide them with a knowledge platform for a substantial and meaningful exchange of ideas. The Review aims to support both established scholars in the field of Sport Studies, as well as advanced students in the field. It is therefore an opportunity for new scholars to become known and gain a reputation in academia. Topics: The first issue will include three major sections: 1. The Use of Information Technology in High Performance Training and Practice 2. Physical Recovery in Sport Performance 3. Individualization of Training in Sports. Submission deadlines: The deadline for abstract submission is August 10, 2009 Contributors are invited to submit a 200-word abstract outlining the main thesis, as well as structure of the proposed paper.
