CALL FOR PAPERS

CSMR-WCRE 2014 - Software Evolution Week

February 3-7 2014, Antwerp, Belgium

http://ansymo.ua.ac.be/csmr-wcre
twitter: @CSMR_WCRE

Software Evolution Week 2014 joins The Working Conference on Reverse Engineering (WCRE), the premier research conference on the theory and practice of recovering information from existing software and systems, with the European Conference on Software Maintenance and Reengineering (CSMR), the premier European conference on the theory and practice of maintenance, reengineering and evolution of software systems.

This first joint meeting will promote discussion and interaction among researchers and practitioners about the development of new and maintainable systems, and the evolution, migration and reengineering of existing ones. In addition, Software Evolution Week will explore innovative methods of recovering information from software, software engineering documents and systems artifacts, as well as examine innovative ways of using this information in system renovation and program understanding.

The Software Evolution Week 2014 program will feature technical research papers, early research achievement papers, industry papers, workshops, project reports, tool demonstrations, a doctoral symposium and (last but not least) keynotes from both inside and outside the community.

The conference will be held in Antwerp (Belgium) in the week of 3-7 February 2014. The conference is supported by the Reengineering Forum (REF) and IEEE. All accepted contributions will be published in the official CSMR-WCRE 2014 conference proceedings and in the IEEE digital library. Authors of the best papers at CSMR-WCRE'2014 will be invited for a special section to submit extended, revised versions to the journal Information and Software Technology.
